Senior Linux systems engineer
Shellrent S.p.A., Cloud Service Provider of Vicenza, is looking for an expert systems engineer to integrate the technical team.
The ideal candidate will have solid experience managing Linux systems and virtualized environments, advanced technical skills and a strong problem-solving orientation.
He/she must be autonomous and able to interface profitably with customers, colleagues and other company functions.
Coordination experience and having held roles of responsibility in structured and high-performance companies are welcome.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in IT, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing Linux systems
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems and related technologies
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Xen)
- Skills in managing networks and network protocols
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and aptitude for teamwork
- Residence in the province of Vicenza
Activity:
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of Linux servers
- System performance monitoring and resource optimization
- Management of security patches, system updates and data backups
- Resolution of complex technical problems and third level support
- Provide pre-sales support to the commercial department to define the best solutions for the customer
- Management of migration projects and implementation of new technologies
- Collaborate with other company functions for the development of new products and for the continuous improvement of existing ones and internal procedures

Salary
€1.500,00 - €1.700,00 per month
